Mahogany and Sitka Spruce are classic tonewood for any guitar family instruments because of their outstanding properties of stability, light weight and tonal response. They make for a timeless instrument that will look and sound just as good in 100 years as it does now. The timber here is Indian Rosewood that complements the color palette of these timbers.

Master grade Australian Blackwood body with Gidgee bindings. The peg head veneers, bridge and fret board are ebony. I've made fret markers from Faux Ivory and used Rubner machine heads for silky smooth tuning.

Tasmanian Blackheart Sassafrass has some extraordinary patterns at times. This one is rather exceptional and I've paired up with a Carpathian Spruce soundboard. Features a scoop cutaway for easier access to the upper frets. Some custom pink recon stone for rosette inlay, fret markers and detail to peg head. I've installed Gotoh machine heads.

I build left hand versions of all my instruments on request for no extra charge. This one features some Red Gum Burl fret markers to carry the color palette into the fret board. Indian Rosewood bindings and ebony fret board, bridge and peg head veneers.

Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle with a 3000 year old Sitka Spruce Soundboard. The Honduran Rosewood fret board features my Frank Lloyd Wright inspired fret marker design. Curly Jarrah has been used for the bindings.

Mahogany with this figure is very difficult to source now that it's on the CITES list of endangered species. The only way to source it is from very old stock. I've used Gidgee for the bindings and ebony for the rest of the trim. Gotoh UPT machine heads and a custom 12th fret marker.
